Chelsea want to sign Man City forward Raheem Sterling in the summer transfer window. The Blues are expected to loan £97.5million striker back to Inter Milan with a replacement needed. The man to take his place could well be the England international who has just one year left on his deal at the Etihad Stadium. Journalist Gianluca Di Marzio has reported that Blues boss Thomas Tuchel is a big fan of the 27-year-old.
The main issue with the transfer is likely to be the pricetag, especially with his current contract up next summer. Di Marzio reports £35m could get the deal over the line but Man City could want more. He tweeted: “Update: @ChelseaFC are now confident to close #Sterling deal from @ManCity. Transfer fee could be around £35millions.”
